While still in my teens, I entertained at the Piccadilly Nightclub in Columbus, Ohio. One night the club owner hired Wolfman Jack to DJ a promotion and while he and I manned the booth in front of a capacity crowd of 3,000 people I realized that it doesn't matter if you're working with a crowd of 30 in the audience, 300 or 3,000. "You have to perform like its 3,000."

I used to own the Fashion Plus Modeling & Dance Company of Ohio for nearly 20 years. I was also editor and publisher of my own Fashion Magazine that was distributed throughout the buckeye state. We specialized in fashion shows and talent bookings.

I made my singing debut among my colleagues at a V.I.P. Fashion Show in July of 1992 and in 1993 signed on with the RollerGirl Show. Upon retiring the agency, our duo's singing act continued for ten years in Ohio and in Florida during the winter months. Averaging about 40 shows per winter, we were booked from Disneyworld Parks to Eagles, Elks, Moose Lodges, VFW's, and RV parks throughout Florida.

The Tour started in Jacksonville and moved down the Gulf Coast through the Florida Keys. We then would stop at my parent's house in Key West for a week's rest, before heading up the Keys doing alternate show stops. The shows were also lined up the Atlantic side of Florida and led back to Jacksonville. We repeated that route 2 to 3 times per season visiting our favorite vacation destinations.

During the 2000 tour, I found my soul on the beach of my dreams the night before entertaining a full house at Bay Indies Mobile Home Park. The next morning, I went downtown and just like love at first sight, I found "The Greatest Little City in Florida", which is one my trademark statements.

When I first moved to Venice, I worked as a singer, DJ for at the Lake Placid & Arcadia Moose Lodges, Papadon's Italian Restaurant in Englewood, Snook Haven, several Country Clubs and The Flying Bridge Restaurant until it sold out to the development of condominiums. I sing many of the songs that my family used to listen to on the radio and television in the late 40's, 50's and 60's. I do offer some 70's, 80's and a little bit of today's trendy songs. I'm also the host of "The Best & Worst Karaoke in Florida."

I mainly entertain for special events, anniversaries, weddings, surprise birthdays, open houses and private parties. I'm looking forward to working with Sharky's on the Pier, so if you're there, ask them when Bruno's Venice Beach Dance Party is coming!!! I also introduced the idea of having mini fashion shows at Sharky's with the stores that have supported my annual fashion shows for the past several years.

Call me when it's Show Time, Bruno

At the time of the following photo, taken I was performing a national act with Wolfman Jack, I was billed as Bruno "The U.S.A. DJ"

When I first got into show business, I met a man with amazing charisma. Wolfman Jack was that Man! He really knew how to mesmerize a crowd and keep them going with his crazy antics, stunning voice and popular music.
Frankie Avalon was kind of my Idol too. Maybe because most of his movies were shot on the beach with bikini girls dancing  and Annette  Funeicello on the set.  They  always put on a Great Shows, looking energetic with great smiles and facial expressions. There's something wonderful about  enthusiastic entertainers that compels the audience to become involved with their performance. Don't you agree?

My Professional Career took off when I met Kathy Miller, better known as the Skating Singer of the "RollerGirl Show". I joined her act as the Singing Sales Man & Singing DJ for 7 years on the road. In the summer and fall weekdays, I sold RV's and traveled in one while singing with Kathy on the weekends. We traveled the Midwest and Florida for the last 5 years.
We believe everyone deserves for their dreams to come true. Ours had. Kathy met Robert Newsome at a small campground show in Ohio, and later, they were married at the Mollica residence of Key West. The three of us traveled the last tour together as I was looking to relocate.  Kathy unlocked the door to my future by leading me to my new home town in Venice.

We always have fun, as we make each show, something to remember.
